Getting There

Getting There

Hamilton is accessible by train, bus and plane.

If you do have any specific route questions, we are happy to help you figure out an accessible route to our conference. Please do not hesitate to email usgdelegateaffairs@macmun.org with these questions, or contact us here.

BUS

Our hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk from Hamilton GO bus station and so we highly recommend the Hamilton GO bus station as a primary drop off location.

TRAIN

To access Hamilton by train we have two GO train stations close to the Sheraton Hotel: (1) Aldershot GO Station and (2) West Harbour GO station.

PLANE

Hamilton has its own airport which you can fly into if necessary. There are buses that leave from the airport that will take you to Hamilton downtown and drop you off close to the Sheraton.

McMaster sits on the traditional territory shared between the Haudenosaunee confederacy and the Anishinabe nations, which was acknowledged in the Dish with One Spoon wampum belt. That wampum uses the symbolism of a dish to represent the territory, and one spoon to represent that the people are to share the resources of the land and only take what they need.
